The most important player on the field?
The most talented player on defense?
It’s not just about statistics.
It’s about a team’s ability to score.
The Los Angeles Galaxy are the best team in Major Division Two of the North American Soccer League.
The team has gone undefeated in the season series, with a record of 5-0-0, including a 4-1 win over the Portland Timbers in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinal.
It also has one of the most dynamic and prolific offenses in the league.
The Galaxy’s record in MLS regular-season games is 11-1-3, with the only loss coming at the hands of the Portland Thorns in the 2018 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup quarterfinals.
Los Angeles has also gone unbeaten in its three CONCACAF Champions League games this season.
Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena said he’s been impressed by the Galaxy’s ability over the past two years to maintain its form on the road.
In fact, it’s been a little surprising at times how they’ve managed to do that, Arena said.LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane, who plays for LA Galaxy II, said the Galaxy have been able to remain on the same level at home and away.
That’s why, even with the Galaxy playing more of a 4, LA Galaxy coach Ben Olsen said the team has been able keep their composure on the weekend.
“We’ve been very consistent, but at the same time, the team is playing very well,” Olsen said.
“They’ve been doing very well against teams that are not as good as them.
They’re playing well on the big stages and in front of their home fans.
We’ve done a really good job of holding them to a lot of quality.”
It’s no surprise that the Galaxy is one of MLS’s top teams, Arena pointed out.
The Galaxy have played a total of three MLS matches in 2017, all wins.
“It’s not surprising,” Arena said of the Galaxy winning all three of those games.
“We’ve had the best players in the world on our team and have had some quality players on the team, and the results have been great.
We have a great coaching staff that really knows how to prepare us and is extremely good at our jobs.”
For the past few years, the Galaxy has played a very balanced and well-balanced schedule, with three home matches and one away game, Arena explained.
They’ve played three times at StubHub Center and six times in 2017.LA is the only MLS team to have two of its games come in the last 10 minutes.
LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos scored the game-winner against the Timbers at Providence Park in Week 14 of the 2017 MLS season.
The other was a 1-0 victory against the New England Revolution in Week 2 of the 2016 MLS season, with both games coming in the 90th minute.
The game was played on the last day of the regular season and featured a game-tying goal in the 91st minute, with LA scoring its first goal since Week 4 of the 2015 season.
LA finished with a 5-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls in Week 4, with goalkeeper Nick Rimando saving two of three shots.
